FEDERAL, STATE and LOCAL ELECTIONS:

The Student Government Association, as a governing body, believes that voting is an important part of everyone’s democratic right. As an organization that is based upon democracy and equal rights, we feel that it is our civic duty to promote voting any way that we can.

MSOE’s SGA has implemented numerous services to aid our students in there voting venture. Some of the things that we offer are as follows:

  • Voter Registration – if it is your first time voting stop by the SGA Office, Student Life, Bookstore, Library, TRIO Program, Learning Resource Center or Human Resources and get registered to vote here in the City of Milwaukee.

  • Candidate Emails – Candidates are asked to send an email through our campus mailing list, explaining who they are and why you should vote for them. Please contact the MSOE Student Activities staff for more information at 414-277-7228 or the SGA Advisor (Rick Gagliano) at gagliano@msoe.edu

  • Candidate Campus Visits – Candidates are urged to come to campus and say a few words at one of the SGA meetings. They are also able to leave behind some literature and do a informal meet and greet with our students (with authorization from the Office of Student Activities).
